Welcome to Opinion Systems, a blog about the state of online debate. The content on this blog is more or less driven by three premises:

1. Debate or discussion between disagreeing parties is difficult or impossible to do on-line.
2. Our Information Systems have a large part in that difficulty.
3. New systems of organizing, linking and assigning relevance to opinion content would have a positive impact on organizations, governments and culture.
